In case you were wondering if it's safe to come in to Nancy Darcy Hairdressing during these uncertain times, we wanted to reassure you of the usual and extra measures we are taking right now.

 

We are monitoring the situation closely day by day. At the moment, we're operating business as usual and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment.

 

When you're here, you should know that:

• We sterilise our hairbrushes and scissors after each client

• We disinfect our stations after every treatment using an antibacterial solution

• We store our implements in Barbicide

• Our staff are washing their hands after every single client, using hand-washing technique as set out by the WHO

• We now disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all door handles at regular intervals throughout the day

• We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well and have not been in contact with anyone who has Coronavirus

Please help us by following these guidelines:

                  

• Please let us know if you or any family member are having any Covid-19 symptoms and do not attempt to come into salon.

• Please wear a face mask.

• Do not enter the salon if someone at reception, wait outside until we can welcome you in. If there is anyone else waiting outside, please keep 2 meters apart

• Only make appointments by phone, Facebook or Instagram.

• Please come alone for your appointment.

• If you would like refreshments please bring your own reusable cup for us to use for refreshments.

• Please bring your own reading material.

• Card payments are preferable.

• Be aware you will need a skin test anytime up to 48hrs before your appointment on your first colour service

• Please be patient with us we want to do what we can for everyone but are limited to space and time and working under new strange conditions.

• We will be offering a full shampoo service, although if you would prefer to wash your home before your appointment that is optional.

• Please bring your own towel for your appointment

• We will be offering a limited “quiet appointment’s” for venerable clients. Please ask your Stylist if you require this.

• Please be prompt and on time

• Arrive without a coat or jacket if weather permits, if not use bags provided to place

  your coat/jacket into.

• Hand sanitize at our arrival station.

• Wait for your temperature to be taken, and complete our track and trace.

• Wait to be directed to your consultation chair.

• Avoid face to face contact and touching of products.

If you have a cold, a sniffle, a cough, fever or are feeling unwell, first, we are sorry to hear it! And secondly, we would ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment so that we can see you when you're back feeling fighting fit.

 

If and when the time comes that we need to take extra measures, we will do so in the most responsible way as advised by the right authorities.
